2026 Pledge Campaign

We are thrilled to inform you that our annual pledge campaign for support of St. Jude's mission and ministries has acheived its goals, having received 158 pledges (150 goal) for $451,000 (450k goal).

The campaign remains open. Reaching our goals does not mean that our annual budget is fully funded.  If you haven't yet made a pledge of support for St. Jude's we invite you to do so.

Enjoy a festive meal featuring smoked salmon, Scottish cheese, Highland beef stew, neeps and tatties, garden peas, a tasting of haggis, tipsy laird trifle, and shortbread on a wonderful night of culture, community, and tradition!

Please note: We currently have a few remaining unsold tickets on hold. A short waitlist is in place. For those who still need to pay for or collect their tickets, please visit the church office during office hours.

Jazz Vespers is on the first Sunday of every month at 4PM.  Music with a Jazz Quartet, evening prayers, readings, and a short reflection. A free will offering is received.

After the Parish Lunch on Wednesday, February 11 in Victoria Hall at St. Jude's, join us for a workshop with Staff Sergeant Colin Anderson of the Toronto Police Service (and our rector's nephew), who will bring us a presention he has give to many community groups. Colin will give us advice on what to look for, what to avoid, and how to protect ourselves from fraud.

Justice and Servant Ministries is undertaking an exploration of the homelessness problem in Oakville, and of the local organizations engaged in responding to this growing crisis.  We would like to define a role for J&SM in addressing this need, in collaboration with a community partner.  If you have an interest in this problem, and/or expertise to contribute, please contact Blair Richardson directly or through the Church office.  Thank you.

A Pantry Program volunteer commented that readers might erroneously conclude that all the dinners had been made by the named cook team members.  This is not the case.  There are approximately 100 volunteers in the Pantry Program who are scheduled on cook teams.  We are grateful for all their devotion and hard work, which enabled St. Jude’s to reach the amazing number of 13,000 dinners and soups prepared and delivered to clients in 2025!
