The Rector was pleased this week to represent the parish at the Monday night open meeting of AA's Oakville group which was celebrating seventy-seven years (!) of its work in Oakville, almost all of that time at St. Jude's.
At this meeting St. Jude's was very warmly thanked for its generous support of the group which meets at various times throughout the week. AA's sister group, Al-anon, also meets at St. Jude's. Canon Anderson was happy to bring the meeting of well over one hundred people greetings from the parish and congratulate members on their good work over the years, all accomplished by God's grace, one day at a time.
AA's regular meetings at St. Jude's are closed to members, except for the Monday evening meeting which is open to all who are interested in observing a meeting to learn more about AA.
Over the many years of the group's meetings at St. Jude's, countless lives have been transformed as people have found their way back to sobriety. Just imagine the impact over all these years upon alcoholics, their children, spouses, parents, siblings, and friends!

This ministry is made possible by your support of St. Jude's. Thank you.
