Chris Punnett ON

The Right Reverend Dr. Susan Bell, Bishop of Niagara, has appointed Chris Punnett from St. Jude's Church as a member of the Order of Niagara. Chris recently received the letter of appointment and congratulations from Bishop Susan.

The Order of Niagara is an honour the bishop bestows upon lay people of the diocese in recognition of their contributions to the life of a parish, the diocese, and/or the community.

Chris has expressed his deep gratitude for this honour, and is humbled to join a list of impresesive Christian disciples from St. Jude's who have been appointed in the past, most recently Blair Richardson ON (2023); Roger Beach ON (2022); Peter Rughi ON (2021); and Peter Chambers ON (2019). Chris is the twentieth parishioner from St. Jude's to be so honoured.  

Chris will be officially installed as a member of the Order at a special service of Holy Eucharist at Christ's Church Cathedral in Hamilton, on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 4 PM. All are invitend to attend this celebration of ministry in our diocese.
