This year’s theme is “Glacier Preservation” according to the United Nations, as nearly 2 billion people rely on glaciers, snowmelt and mountain run-off for drinking, agriculture and energy production.

We must reduce green house gas emissions to slow glacial retreat, by weaning ourselves away from fossil fuel use.

Seawater level has risen 20 centimetres since1900, and threatens many coastal areas globally.
Please discontinue plastic water bottle use in your daily and church life as only 10% of plastics are recycled.
