St. Jude's has begun the work of creating its new Mission Action Plan. A Mission Action Plan (MAP) is intended to guide us in our ministry proirities over the next two to three years. In this first MAP we have been looking at three questions:

  1. Adult Christian Formation. What is God calling us to do in terms of Adult Christian Formation?
  2. Enhancing Parish Culture for Ministry and Mission. How might we adapt our parish culture to better equip us to participate in God's mission?
  3. Fullness of Life in the Neighbourhood. Who are the neighbours that God is calling us to love? What are their needs? What is God calling us to do?

Once we have answered these three questions we will be in a position to choose which of the ideas generated should be our priorities at this time.

We have already held the first two consultations  for our MAP,  where we talked about Adult Faith Formation and Parish Cuture. These meetings were well attended and participants were enthusiastically engaged in dreaming about God's future for St. Jude's.

Our next consultation will be on Fulless of Life in the Neighbourhood and will be held on Sunday, March 24, 12:30 PM in Victoria Hall. The final consultation, setting of priorities, and team building will occur on Sunday, April 28, 12:30 PM in Victoria Hall. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
