The St. Jude’s Choir [Changed from 11:15 Choir]
The St. Jude’s Choir has long enjoyed a reputation for excellence, adhering to a high musical standard. This accomplished and enthusiastic group currently includes two paid section leads and 30 volunteer singers. Entry is by informal audition. The repertoire, drawing from St. Jude’s extensive music library, focuses on the finest music in the Anglican choral tradition, with mass settings, canticles and anthems from the 16th century to the present. This choir also takes part in St. Jude’s monthly Choral Evensong, Christmas Nine Lessons and Carols service, and spring choral concert. The Choir’s tours in North America and the U.K. have included venues such as the Mohawk First Nations community at Tyendinaga, St. Thomas’s Fifth Avenue, Winchester and Ripon Cathedrals and Romsey Abbey, to name but a few. For more information or to arrange an audition, please contact the Director of Music, Sebastian Moreno, at choir@stjudeschurch.net
Its regular schedule includes:
- Rehearsals every Thursday, 7:30 – 9:30 pm, September to June.
- Sunday Eucharist at 10:30 am.

The St. Jude’s Evensong Choir NEW
The St. Jude’s Evensong Choir is an auditioned SATB+ choir that welcomes experienced singers who are seeking challenging repertoire but not a weekly rehearsal or service commitment. Evensong, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is a traditional and unequally Anglican style of evening prayer that contains choral canticles, preces and responses, anthems, and hymns. The St. Jude’s Evensong Choir participates in unique annual services including the Memorial Garden Evensong, Christmas Nine Lessons and Carols, Holy Week liturgies, choir tours, and more. For more information or to arrange an audition, please contact the Director of Music at choir@stjudeschurch.net
Its regular schedule includes:
- Choral Evensong, 4:00 pm monthly on the third Sunday, September to June.
The Gloria Singers [Changes from 9:30 Choir]
The Gloria Singers is a non-auditioned choir that is open to singers with varied choral experience. We welcome all in our community and offer an opportunity for everyone to take part in the benefits of choral singing. In addition to offering a short anthem, this choir supports congregational singing and complements family ministry for which there is an annual Christmas pageant. The music is fun and contemporary, while providing a learning opportunity for all who sing.
Its regular schedule includes:
- Rehearsals every Thursday, 6:15 – 7:00pm, September to June.
- Sunday Eucharist, 10:30 am monthly of the third Sunday, September to June.
